We use only hand selected, eco friendly vegetable tanned Scandinavian leathers. Vegetable tanning is a non-toxic method that has been around for thousands of years. It develops a beautiful patina over time, which is simply incomparable.

All of our leather is of a very high saddlery quality, elegant, durable and safe to use against skin. Each leather and its properties is chosen to match the product, resulting in highly functional, hard wearing items. We personally test our prototypes and never produce anything that does not meet our personal criteria. Because we believe that each Dom and sub are unique, we want to match this and only create unique, one of a kind items. When you wear LUXURIA, you will know that no one has the same item as you do. Our range is constantly developing so be sure to check back frequently!

Our products are crafted by hand by our house Dom - an artist and a professional equine harness smith. Our knowledge of the qualities of the material ensure that we will always choose the correct part of the hide to suit the design. We do not waste, either -LUXURIA is environmentally aware. Our scrap pieces go as a donation to a craft artist.

Most of the BDSM products on the market are machine sewn or put together with rivets. As neither of these methods are truly durable, we use only hand stitching in our products. In hand stitching, each stitch interlocks the thread in place, something that is not achieved in machine sewn products. When a machine sewn thread breaks, the entire stitching will fall apart. This does not happen in hand stitched products. Machine stitches also tend to be too short, making unnecessary holes in the leather. This can cause tearing over time, weaken the leather and affect safety. We use a durable saddler's thread in all our designs.

As we repair and craft equine equipment in the same workshop where we create LUXURIA, our products are unfortunately unsuitable for persons with allergies towards horses or dogs.
